Your 20s and 30s are a time of immense growth, change, and self-discovery. Whether it’s figuring out your career, navigating relationships, or managing the pressure to "have it all together," these years can be both exciting and overwhelming. At Valere Therapy Collective, we understand the unique challenges that come with this stage of life. We offer support to help you navigate the complexities of adulthood, build resilience, and find clarity during times of uncertainty. You don’t have to have all the answers right now—we’re here to help you along the way.
Anxiety is something many of us deal with, but it’s not always easy to talk about. Whether it’s that constant nagging worry in the back of your mind, a sudden wave of panic that leaves you feeling trapped, or just the weight of stress that never seems to lift, anxiety can be overwhelming. It can feel isolating, like you're the only one who’s struggling, but trust me—you’re definitely not alone.
Relationships can be deeply fulfilling, but they also come with their own set of challenges—communication issues, misunderstandings, or simply growing apart over time. Whether you're navigating a rough patch or looking to strengthen your bond, therapy can help you both reconnect, communicate better, build intimacy, and understand each other more deeply. We offer couples therapy in a safe, supportive space where you can explore your concerns, learn healthy tools for conflict resolution, and build a stronger, more resilient relationship. No matter where you are in your relationship, we’re here to help you grow together.
College is the time to learn and grow, but it can also feel like a lot to juggle. Between classes, social pressures, and figuring out your future, it’s easy to get overwhelmed. It’s normal to feel stressed or anxious, and sometimes it might even feel like you’re the only one struggling. But trust me, you're not alone. Many college students are dealing with the same challenges, and it’s okay to ask for help when things get tough. We offer therapy specifically designed for college students, providing a supportive space to work through stress, anxiety, relationships, and everything in between. We’re here to help you navigate this unique chapter of your life and thrive both personally and academically.
Cultural, ethnic, and racial issues can deeply impact your sense of identity, values, relationships, and how you show up in the world. Whether it's dealing with microaggressions, systemic inequality, or the complexities of navigating multiple identities, these challenges can often feel isolating and exhausting. At Valere Therapy Collective, we provide a safe, culturally sensitive space where you can explore the unique experiences tied to your race, ethnicity, and culture. Our therapists are committed to understanding your perspective and offering support as you process these challenges. We’re here to help you find healing, strength, and a deeper connection to yourself in a world that may not always see you for who you truly are.
Trauma can deeply affect every aspect of your life, often leaving you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, and disconnected. Whether it's from a specific event or a series of painful experiences, the effects of trauma can linger long after the incident. At Valere Therapy Collective, we offer EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) a highly effective, evidence-based therapy designed to help individuals process and heal from trauma and emotional wounds. By using bilateral stimulation, such as guided eye movements, EMDR helps to reprocess distressing memories and reduce emotional charge. This powerful technique enables you to shift negative beliefs and reactions tied to past experiences, allowing for lasting healing and emotional well-being. Whether you're dealing with past trauma, wounds, or persistent negative thoughts, EMDR can help you move forward with greater peace and resilience. If you're having trouble logically knowing something but emotionally struggling to believe it, EMDR may be the solution you've been looking for.

As women, we often juggle a lot—balancing work, relationships, personal goals, our health, and everything in between. It can be easy to put everyone else’s needs before your own, but your mental and physical health matters too. Whether you’re dealing with stress, burnout, relationship challenges, women's health issues, or just feeling overwhelmed, therapy can help you find the clarity and support you need. You deserve to feel supported, understood, and empowered to take on whatever life throws your way.
Your family of origin shapes much of who you are—how you relate to others, how you manage conflict, and even how you see yourself. The dynamics within your family can shape your beliefs, behaviors, and relationships in ways that influence your life long after childhood. We help you explore the influences of your family background, heal from past wounds, and develop healthier relationships moving forward. We offer a supportive space to work through family issues, set boundaries, and understand how your past affects your present. Understanding and healing from your family of origin can lead to greater personal growth and more fulfilling connections with others.
Depression can feel like an overwhelming weight, affecting your mood, energy, and outlook on life. It may make even simple tasks feel exhausting, and you might feel disconnected with yourself and others. At Valere Therapy Collective, we understand how isolating depression can be, and we’re here to offer support. We work with you to explore the root causes, provide coping strategies, and help you find a path toward healing. You don’t have to face it alone- we're here to be your co-pilot.
During your first therapy session, the goal is really to get to know you better and understand what brings you to therapy. We’ll start by talking about your background, what’s been going on in your life, and any specific challenges or concerns you’re facing. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, feelings, and the areas you’d like support with. We’ll discuss what you’re looking to get out of our time together and begin identifying some of the goals you’d like to work toward. It’s a collaborative process, and I want to make sure you feel safe and understood throughout. By the end of the session, we’ll have a clearer sense of how we can best work together and start developing a plan moving forward, at a pace that feels right for you! Please note that your first appointment (intake appointment) will be 60 minutes and an additional $25 to the session cost.
We typically encourage our clients to meet weekly at the start of therapy and then adjust as appropriate. Weekly sessions help build therapeutic rapport, consistent space to explore, and establish strategies/skills. That being said, we believe in self-determination and collaboration. You can work with your therapist to find a frequency that fits your needs!
We are an out-of-network provider which means we do not accept insurance directly. However, we provide courtesy billing which means that we will submit insurance claims on your behalf and/or we will provide a Superbill upon request for those who want to take advantage of their “out-of-network” insurance benefits to submit for reimbursement.
We believe that everyone deserves access to quality therapy, regardless of their financial circumstances. To support this, we offer a limited number of reduced fee rates for those experiencing financial hardship. Please note that these reduced fee spaces are limited, so we encourage you to reach out if cost is a concern. We are committed to working with you to ensure that therapy remains accessible and supportive, no matter your financial situation. Additionally, should you need assistance finding more affordable options outside of our practice, we are more than happy to provide referrals that align with your specific needs.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients/clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate both verbally and written for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services, including psychotherapy services.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call the No Surprises Help Desk at 1-800-985-3059
